Expect a flurry of explosive whimsicality and enigmatic wit as SSO Principal Flutist Jin Ta takes on the challenging 1934 Flute Concerto by eclectic French composer Jacques Ibert. In addition, the programme is led by our Chief Conductor Hans Graf. Furthermore, it features two masterpieces from the Germanic symphony canon: Haydn’s 95th – august and aristocratic, and Mendelssohn’s imposing First Symphony.
