Sita’s teenage world shattered when violence took her parents. Consumed by grief and anger, she fixates on a singular purpose: to disprove religious claims of afterlife punishment. Believing only by defying them in death can she find peace, Sita searches for the worst person imaginable. When that person dies, Sita plans to be buried with them, a final act to show religion’s emptiness. However, her quest has unforeseen consequences for those who doubt the faith she seeks to challenge.
