Marina Bay Sands is thrilled to announce the upcoming performance of renowned Cantopop singer-songwriter, music producer, and actor George Lam (林子祥). With an illustrious career spanning over four decades, Lam’s remarkable vocal talent has earned him the nickname “Iron Lung”. This veteran artist will grace the Sands Grand Ballroom stage on 28 April 2024.
Fans can anticipate an unforgettable evening as Lam delivers a repertoire ranging from lively rhythms to heartfelt ballads, all presented in his distinctive style. Audiences will have the opportunity to sing along to Lam’s timeless hits such as “Guys Be Strong” (男儿当自强), “In The Midst of Water” (在水中央), “Nothing Gonna Stop Us Now” (敢爱敢做), and “Need You Every Minute” (分分钟需要你). Adding to the excitement, his wife, Sally Yeh (叶倩文), will be the special guest for the evening.
