8. The Wynners’ 50th Anniversary Farewell Tour
The esteemed 1970s group, The Wynners, holds a revered place in the realm of Chinese music, standing as one of the most enduring bands. Their timeless hits such as “Wynners’ Rhapsody,” “Sha-La-La-La-La,” “By His Side,” “Let’s Have Fun,” and “Not in Thousand Years” have etched an unforgettable legacy in the music sphere, enchanting audiences with their everlasting appeal. Spanning 50 illustrious years, The Wynners were the trailblazers as the inaugural performers at the Hong Kong Coliseum and have held the record for hosting the most concerts at the venue.
Since 2006, The Wynners have pledged to reunite with their devoted fans every five years. However, this year marks the culmination of that commitment as they formally announced their ultimate tour. Aptly named “Farewell with LOVE,” this tour signifies their final goodbye. Recognized as the “Five Tigers,” The Wynners bid adieu to their audience after this tour. Despite bidding farewell to the music scene, the band assures their steadfast affection and gratitude towards their dedicated supporters will endure unchanged.
The Wynners: Farewell with LOVE Live in Singapore will take place at Sands Grand Ballroom, Level 5, Sands Expo & Convention Centre on 17 December 2023 (Sunday).
