1. Red Dot August at the Esplanade
Celebrate Singapore’s 53rd birthday with the best of our nation’s artistic talents! Esplanade presents Red Dot August, a diverse programme of free performances all month long, from 1 to 16, and 20 to 31 August. From a cappella to band performances by our schools, to spoken word poetry and film screenings, the exciting line-up proves that Singapore’s arts scene is nowhere near dead. Highlights include live performances by rising R&B/funk band Astronauts, soul singer-songwriter Nick Zavior, and even our very own Singapore Police Force (SPF) Quintet!
