1. Luke Skywalker will play a big role

The hero of the original Star Wars trilogy, Luke Skywalker is referred to as “the last Jedi” in the iconic opening title crawl of 2015’s The Force Awakens. In The Return of the Jedi, Yoda, on his deathbed, says, “Luke, when gone am I, the last of the Jedi will you be.”

Luke’s father – Darth Vader – had massacred almost all practising Jedi 20 years before Luke was born, and the rest died throughout the earlier movies. Plus, the fact that it’s now officially “the Skywalker saga” gives plenty of reason to believe that Luke will be playing a more central role in the upcoming films.
