2. French Film Festival 2018

We often associate France with love and romance, but did you know that when it comes to cinema, the nation loves its horror? This year’s French Film Festival treats us to nearly 30 acclaimed masterpieces of a wide range of genres, with a special spotlight on horror and thrillers. From 8 to 18 November, Shaw Theatres Lido, Alliance Française de Singapour, The Projector, Our Tampines Hub, will all be screening various films from the festival. Besides spine-chilling flicks, you can also look forward to heartwarming dramas, laugh-out-loud comedies, oldies by the legendary director Henri-Georges Clouzot, and even delightful animated children’s films. Highlights include the sci-fi film Just A Breath Away (Dans la brume) – whose cast members and producers will be in town to meet the public – and the award-winning animated film Funan.

You can visit the official website for the full schedule and more information.
