The countdown to Marvel Studios’ next Avengers event has officially begun.
Tickets for Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday are now available in Singapore for selected premium screenings, giving Marvel fans an unusually early chance to secure their seats for one of 2026’s biggest cinema releases. The film opens in Singapore on 17 December 2026, one day ahead of its official US release.
And this isn’t simply another Marvel sequel. Avengers: Doomsday is shaping up to be one of the MCU’s most ambitious crossover events yet, bringing together heroes — and familiar faces — from different corners and generations of the Marvel universe.
Tickets Are on Sale — Here’s Where to Book
The first wave of Singapore ticket sales is currently focused on Infinity Vision-certified screenings, Marvel and Disney’s new premium large-format cinema experience.
Fans can book their Infinity Vision tickets now through Shaw Theatres, while Golden Village is also offering an Avengers: Endgame: Encore and Avengers: Doomsday double-feature package. Regular screenings are expected to go on sale separately at a later date.
So, if opening night is already non-negotiable, don’t wait — secure your seats early before the best spots are snapped up.
So, What Exactly Is Infinity Vision?
Think bigger screens, brighter visuals and powerful sound.
Infinity Vision is Disney’s premium cinema certification designed to identify auditoriums capable of delivering a large-scale theatrical experience — something that feels particularly fitting for an Avengers movie packed with massive battles, visual effects and an enormous ensemble cast.
There’s also a little bonus for early birds. Fans who pre-purchase tickets to Infinity Vision screenings can receive two different collectible posters with every pair of tickets purchased, while stocks last.
Robert Downey Jr. Is Back — But Not as Iron Man
Here’s where things get particularly interesting.
Robert Downey Jr. is returning to Marvel, but this time, he won’t be suiting up as Tony Stark. Instead, he takes on the role of Victor von Doom, aka Doctor Doom.
For audiences who spent more than a decade associating Downey with Iron Man, seeing him return as one of Marvel’s most formidable villains is reason enough to be curious.
And he certainly won’t be alone.
The huge ensemble includes Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Tom Hiddleston, Sebastian Stan, Florence Pugh, Paul Rudd, Letitia Wright, Simu Liu, Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby and Joseph Quinn.
But Doomsday is reaching beyond the current MCU too. Familiar faces from the earlier X-Men films, including Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, James Marsden, Alan Cumming, Rebecca Romijn and Kelsey Grammer, are also confirmed to return.
At this point, it feels less like an Avengers reunion and more like Marvel opening several decades of its cinematic toy box at once.
Three Universes Are Heading for a Collision
Marvel’s official synopsis gives us another clue about just how big Doomsday could be, teasing heroes from three distinct universes being brought onto a deadly collision course as they face an existential threat unlike anything they have encountered before.
For longtime MCU fans, the timing makes the reunion even more significant. By the time Doomsday arrives, seven years will have passed since Avengers: Endgame — and a lot has changed in the Marvel universe since Tony Stark snapped his fingers.
Whether you’re here for Doctor Doom, the returning X-Men, the enormous crossover or simply the feeling of watching an Avengers movie with a packed cinema again, 17 December is one date Marvel fans will want to keep free.
