The drama’s rare and satirical look at South Korea’s controversial education system today, and its ties to the power of the elite, is gaining a lot of attention. We follow the lives of four women who are at the top of the Korean elite – as high-ranking university graduates themselves, the women are now rich and competitive housewives who would do anything at all to get their children in the best schools.
