The last season will have only six episodes
If you’re a fan of the hit TV show Game Of Thrones, you might have to wait a while more before it returns for its eighth and final season. HBO has confirmed on January 4 that the show will only return in 2019.
According to the cable channel, GOT will return for a six-episode final season, which is expected to reveal which of the warring families in the fictional Seven Kingdoms of Westeros will take control of the Iron Throne.
Production for the final season has already started in October 2017, and scheduled to last until mid-2018. To avoid leaks or hacks of how the saga ends, HBO’s head of programming Casey Bloys has said that multiple endings will be filmed.
In the meantime, all episodes from season 1 to 7 can be streamed on HBO Go or on HBO On Demand (StarHub TV Channel 602).
