More goals and exciting action are expected in the upcoming clashes of giants in the English Premier League
Looking back to earlier in the season when these teams last faced off against one another, you can expect an abundance of high-scoring and intensely-fought matches when they meet again.
Here are the major matches coming up this weekend.
Queens Park Rangers vs Manchester United (17 Jan, 11pm)
Manchester United will be hoping to recover after a poor form of three games without a win. The Red Devils sit at 4th place after their latest defeat to Southampton, who overtook them to become 3rd in the table.
At the opposite end, Queens Park Rangers sit in the relegation zone and will be hoping for a win against an off-form United.
Prediction: QPR 0-2 Manchester Utd
Swansea vs Chelsea (17 Jan, 11pm)
The Blues will look to further cement their position at the top of table, especially against a Swansea team that’s arguably not at its best. Mourinho’s men have managed to go unbeaten for all but two games so far.
With rumours lurking that Chelsea are bidding for Barcelona star Lionel Messi, the Blues will want to show the seasoned Argentinian they are truly a team worth joining.
Prediction: Swansea 0-3 Chelsea
Manchester City vs Arsenal (19 Jan, 12am)
When these teams last met earlier on in the season, Arsenal looked dominant for the most part, only to slip up to a late header from Manchester City defender Demichelis.
The Citizens will be hoping to do better in front of their own fans. Meanwhile, the Gunners look to be in top form going into this crucial match and will be boosted by the return of record signing Mesut Oezil from injury alongside Theo Walcott.
Prediction: Manchester City 1-1 Arsenal
Aston Villa vs Liverpool (17 jan, 11pm)
Liverpool has yet to find top form this season in the Premier League, sitting uncomfortably in 8th place. The Reds will be hoping to snatch three points off 13th-placed Aston Villa, even though they play away from Anfield.
When these teams last met earlier in the season, Aston Villa triumphed over Liverpool in a 1-0 upset. The Reds will be out for revenge.
Prediction: Aston Villa 0-2 Liverpool
