For the uninitiated, The Podium Lounge is the party venue that sees Formula One drivers, international models and global celebrities letting their hair down and jiving the night away. This year, you will find even more exciting new developments. Here’s what to expect:
There will be a bigger party venue with Singapore’s largest ever pop-up bar at The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia, Singapore — The Grand Ballroom, Level 1. Chill out and dine to your heart’s content!
Enjoy gastronomic delights at the Race Dinner with Quique Dacosta of his eponymous 3 Michelin starred restaurant. For the first time ever in Singapore, Quique Dacosta will be preparing 2 exceptional dinners on Friday 19 & Saturday 20 September. Quique Dacosta is one of the pioneers of avant-garde cuisine in Europe. Dishes prepared by Quique Dacosta will be exquisitely matched with:
- On September 19th, 2014: wines from Castell d’Encus, one of the most original and top-notch vineyards in Spain. The winery produces small quantities at high altitudes averaging 950m in the Spanish Pyrenees. Wines are fermented in stone.
- On September 20th, 2014: wines from the world famous Château Margaux. Château Margaux is the fruit of decades of experience in making one of the most sought-after red wines in the world.
Sartorial Glamour
The nightly Fashion Circuit by Gnossem will take place with international models across a truly iconic catwalk which is being custom-built in collaboration with Dom Pérignon.
Dance, dance, dance
DJs Miles Slater (UK)–music director of premier private-members club Boujis, Patrick Oliver (US)–famed for his 2-year residency at Pangaea ultra-lounge, Marina Bay Sands, and legendary house music DJ and record producer Ian Carey (US) will be on the decks alongside celebrity DJs & vocal performers.
