1. A $ingapore Carol

This festive season, get into the true spirit of Christmas with the triple-threat talents of W!LD RICE. The local theatre company puts a local spin on the Charles Dickens’ classic, A Christmas Carol, for their holiday pantomime this year, to present A $ingapore Carol. S. K. Loo, a Singaporean businessman whose popular app made him a multi-millionaire, could care less about Christmas and giving back. But when three spirits visit him one night, he goes on a journey of self-discovery from his past to future, and starts to rethink his heartless and miserly ways. This family-friendly musical production features lots of all-new and original music so catchy, you won’t be able to resist singing along to after a while. We had a great time laughing to the super witty references to contemporary social media and Singapore cultures, while many heartfelt moments also warmed our hearts. Starring a talented group of local performers – such as Sebastian Tan, Fauzie Laily, Siti Khalijah Zainal, Candice de Rozario, and Audrey Luo – this holiday pantomime checks all the boxes for a fun and inspiring Christmas entertainment.
