The Nike Tiempo has been around for decades, and they’re back to reignite the legend that started it all
In 1994, the hearts of 22 young players beat with fervour as they took to the biggest stage of football: the 1994 FIFA World Cup Final, held in the USA.
A Rebel is Born
Among them, ten of the 22 finalists were wearing the same brand of boots. That brand was Nike, and the boot that redefined many players’ perspectives in the years to come was the Nike Tiempo Premier.
Over the next 20 years, this attitude would shape some of the best players football has ever seen. But it all began with Tiempo.
Old School Classics
In celebration of the 20 years that it has been out, Nike presents the Tiempo ’94, a shoe for everyday style that draws from the heritage of the boot that started it all, and the Tiempo Legend V, a boot that brings new innovation to the pitch.
These new designs were created to celebrate the birth of the legendary Nike Tiempo almost 20 years ago and the success and shaping power it had in the football boots of today.
