The stage is set for Match Day Five as favourites Manchester City and Chelsea headline the football action in this weekend’s epic clash of the giants
Blue is the colour of the week as last season’s champions Manchester City and this year’s frontrunners Chelsea get ready to battle it out in a scrumptious-looking tie.
Here’s what you can look forward to this weekend.
Manchester City vs Chelsea
Both teams have been touted as title-challengers, and City will have to get a result or Chelsea can potentially be eight points ahead after only five matches in.
Men to watch:
Manchester City – David Silva was superb against Arsenal, and he will be key in unlocking Chelsea’s defence.
Chelsea – Diego Costa became the first player to score seven goals in four games. No surprise if he adds to that record.
Prediction: Manchester City 2-2 Chelsea
Aston Villa vs Arsenal
The high-flying Villans are having a sensational start to the season after three wins and a draw, and Arsenal will have to be at their very best if they want to stop that run.
Men to watch:
Aston Villa – Gabriel Agbonlahor scored the winner against Liverpool, and will be a huge threat with his pace and power.
Arsenal – Alexis Sanchez scored a brilliant goal against Manchester City, and his all-rounded displays so far have not gone unnoticed.
Prediction: Aston Villa 1-2 Arsenal
Leicester City vs Manchester United
Manchester United’s road to recovery continues with a match against another newly-promoted side. But Leicester City will prove a much tougher test than QPR, so hold your horses, United fans!
Men to watch:
Leicester City – Leonardo Ulloa is an absolute beast of a striker who will be the main source of goals for the Foxes this season, having already scored three.
Manchester United – Angel di Maria has gotten the United faithful purring after a string of exciting displays for his new side. Opponents beware.
Prediction: Leicester 1-2 Manchester United
