Nostalgic eye candy for you to fondly fawn over

Remember the yesteryears of rushing home after school to catch your favourite sitcom or game show? While some of our favourite actors are still pretty active today, many of us still miss the "golden" age of the 90s in Singapore television.

We take a look at nine iconic heartthrobs of the 90s and what they're up to today.

9. Vincent Ng

Like many actors in the 90s, Ng joined the show business after reaching the finals of “Star Search” in 1997. He appeared in several Mandarin dramas after that, but his breakthrough role was with the 2002 English series “Heartlanders”, in which he portrayed relatable yet macho cop Ricky Soh.

As he was one of few artistes with formal training in martial arts, Ng was frequently cast in period and martial arts television series, or as characters that require stunt and fight scenes. He was listed under the Top 10 Favourite Male Artistes award for many years during his acting career.

Ng left the industry in 2007 to focus on his martial arts business and training. In 2013, he briefly returned to TV for Mandarin series “The Dream Makers”.

Where he is now

Ng now runs his own martial arts school, Wufang Singapore, whose classes are held at the Civil Service Club in Balestier and at various community centres. He can also be spotted in several endorsement deals in between.
