The time is nigh for Harry Potter fans, who are undoubtedly counting down to the release of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them in Singapore on 17 Nov. If you've seen the latest trailers and images but are wondering what exactly these fuzzy furries are, we're here to help.

3. Thunderbird
This giant and majestic bird resembles an eagle (or a Hippogriff, like Buckbeak) and has multiple wings with the power to conjure storms. It is closely related to the phoenix, and the Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has a house named after this creature.
Thunderbirds are native to the United States and have the ability to sense danger.
