Proving that Asia truly makes some of the best horror movies ever, The Host draws us into horrifying awe from that very first, grisly opening sequence that introduces its monster. Created from the toxic waste dumped in the river, the mutant creature kidnaps a girl, forcing the father to brave it all to get her back.
