ARTWALK 2024, a dynamic and multidisciplinary public arts festival, is set to illuminate the streets of Little India and Katong-Joo Chiat (Lembu Rd Open Space, Singapore 208450) from now to 28 January 2024. This edition marks the festival’s remarkable 10-year milestone, celebrated under the theme Decennial. This year’s iteration of ARTWALK invites artists, audiences, and communities to embark on a reflective journey, contemplating a decade of shared stories, histories, and the transformative evolution of these vibrant spaces.
The festival’s opening night promises a vibrant spectacle featuring diverse artists and music performances by local talents such as Poncho Group, Genesis Keefer, Bear The Remedy, and Hazel & Haziq. Culminating in a fashion showcase titled “Porcelain,” directed and styled by professional stylists Ryan Lee and Joseph Koh, the event will highlight garments meticulously crafted by students from LASALLE’s BA (Hons) Fashion Design and Textiles program, intricately woven with themes of myth and religion.
