2. Witness a MARVEL-inspired sand sculpting competition
The Avengers are coming to our sunny shores, quite literally by rising from the sand. That’s right – Sentosa Sandsation is back from 1 to 16 September with a MARVEL edition, wowing us with 15 larger-than-life sand sculptures of Earth’s mightiest heroes. They include favourites like Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and the Hulk. If that sounds impressive, get ready for even more: Catch 14 of the world’s top sand sculptors, led by the award-winning Tan Joo Heng, battle it out Sentosa International Sand Sculpting Championship to carve from scratch 14 more sculptures of the MARVEL heroes! Visit the event between 1 and 3 September to see the artists at work. You can get in on the action too, at one of the many interactive MARVEL-themed activities.
