14. Science Centre Singapore‘s Activities This June Holiday
This June holidays, Science Centre Singapore presents a slew of very special online activities for young learners to discover the wonders of STEM, all from the comfort and safety of home!
Transform homes into a genetics laboratory with the Curious Geneticist Online Workshop, where young learners can decode the secrets of DNA with the help of the Centre’s Science Educators and Curious Geneticist Kit.
In addition, you can learn more about geospatial science and explore navigational tools, read maps and locate points of interest in I am A Young Geospatial Scientist Online Workshop. Launched in collaboration with the Singapore Land Authority, this complimentary workshop is designed specially for primary school students.
For the young inquisitive minds, solve the mystery of who broke into the Bear’s family home with KidsSTOP’s Once Upon A Mystery Online Workshop, where Pepper uses her trusty glow-in-the-dark decoder and investigative skills to find the culprit in this exciting fairy-tale forensics adventure.
Young learners can also put their coding and computational thinking skills to the test with Amazon’s Cyber Robotic Challenge. They will first experience a crash course on coding and its real-world application, before putting their newly acquired skills to the test at the Coder Z Coding Challenge.
