6. Eat, shop and enjoy live music, all for a good cause
You won’t be feeling guilty indulging in food and shopping at this event. All proceeds earned from the food vendors and flea market stalls will go to supporting the Young Women Christian Association (YWCA)’s awesome community services. They include Meals-on-Wheels, Workz-on-Wheels, Kids’ Weekday Care, Sustenance for Families, Empowering Mums and YWCA House. So head over to Muzaikalthon, YWCA’s biennial fundraising event at the YWCA Fort Canning Lodge on 8 September, 10am to 4pm, for a meaningful day of fun. Don’t miss the special music and dance performances by the organisation’s very own Child Development Centre children, a Hawaiian Hula dance company, and more!
