1. Revel in the treasures of Japan at the RWS Summer Matsuri
This weekend, Resorts World Sentosa Singapore (RWS) will be bringing Japan to our shores with its first ever Summer Matsuri! From 6 to 9 June 2019, treat yourself to a host of food, drinks, movies and cultural performances from the Land of the Rising Sun – a selection of offerings from the Furusato Matsuri Tokyo festival.
Held annually in Spring at the Tokyo Dome, Furusato Matsuri Tokyo is a colossal festival where prefectures across Japan gather in the capital to showcase their region’s unique food and culture. RWS has brought selected offerings from this celebration to be available for the first time in Singapore: including over 38 different types of food such as award-winning donburis from Furusato Matsuri Tokyo’s National Donburi Championship; over 55 types of sake, wine, spirits and beer.
Featuring , grilled seafood from Hokkaido and desserts brought to Singapore for the first time.
Enjoy the Tokyo Koenji Awa-Odori Dance and Akita Kanto performances as well as free movie screenings of award-winning movies produced by Shochiku Co. while munching on your food, too! Taking place early next month, the event is suitable for the entire family to attend and enjoy.
