9. Savour German “white-gold” with Brotzeit’s white asparagus menu
White asparagus, also known as Germany’s “white gold”, is exclusively in season for just three months a year – and Brotzeit Singapore is serving up white asparagus in true German spirit. From starter to dessert, the white asparagus menu is best shared with friends over beers and laughter. The Spargelplatte (White Asparagus Platter) (S$79) in particular – with 400 grams of white asparagus paired with black forest ham, gammon ham and smoked salmon – is one of the heartiest servings in town.
You can also enjoy white asparagus with prime cuts like grilled beef tenderloin in the Spargel Mit Rinderfilet ($39), or pan seared barramundi in the Spargel Mit Barramundi ($35). The journey aptly completes with the freshness of spring in the Zitronen Käse Creme Mit Spargel (Deconstructed Lemon Cheese Tart, $10) with white asparagus ribbons and raspberry rings, a dessert created exclusively for the seasonal menu.
