4. Enjoy Duan Wu festivities at the Wan Qing Dumpling Festival
The Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall’s annual Wan Qing Dumpling Festival 2019 is back! This year, the festival will also be held in conjunction with Children’s Season 2019, an annual festival organised by the National Heritage Board for families with children aged 3 to 12 years old; and the focus will be on introducing families and children to the cultural and heritage elements associated with Duan Wu through hands-on activities!
Look forward to a weekend of activities that includes rice dumpling-making sessions, tea appreciation, treasure hunts within the museum’s galleries, craft workshops, dramatised storytelling and evening music performances ranging from the traditional to the contemporary.
