Enjoy Japanese Sake Fest right here in Singapore!

1. Grand Sake Meguri 2026 Brings Japan’s Top Brewers to Singapore

For one weekend only, more than 20 master brewers from across Japan are setting up shop in Singapore. The fourth edition of Grand Sake Meguri, organised by Sake.sg, gathers over 200 premium labels under a single roof — a journey that would normally require criss-crossing several Japanese prefectures.

Newcomers and seasoned drinkers alike can taste widely, then buy their favourites at event-only prices slashed by as much as 60 percent. This year’s roster expands to welcome Katsuyama from Miyagi, alongside returning crowd-pleasers such as Umenoyado, Choya Umeshu, Kirishima Shuzo and Hakkaisan. Organisers expect upwards of 1,000 guests across the weekend.

The draw here isn’t only the pouring. Every attendee walks away with a deluxe goodie bag valued at over S$400, stuffed with miniature bottles and dining vouchers for Sen-ryo, Uoharu and The CHOYA Ginza Bar. Spend $200 or more, and you’re entered into a lucky draw, with a yacht experience from MS Eternity worth up to $3,000 as the headline prize. The fan-favourite Surprise Box also makes its comeback.

New this year is an Exclusive VIP Session on Friday, 24 July 2026, offering rare labels and close-quarters conversation with the brewers themselves. Sake.sg members who spend $500 in a single transaction receive a complimentary ticket, while those who spend $250 can purchase up to two tickets at S$49.90 each.

General admission takes place on Saturday, 25 July 2026, in two four-hour sessions: 10am to 2pm and 3pm to 7pm. Single early-bird tickets start from S$58, while bundles of four are available from S$199.

Grand Sake Meguri will be held at Sands Expo & Convention Centre, 10 Bayfront Avenue, Singapore 018956.

2. Sentosa GrillFest Returns Bigger Than Ever

Singapore’s favourite beachfront cookout is back, and its ninth edition is the most ambitious yet. Sentosa GrillFest 2026 returns to Siloso Beach from 23 July to 16 August 2026, bringing together 42 vendors across five themed zones — including 18 newcomers. Since its debut in 2017, the festival has welcomed close to 800,000 visitors, and pets are welcome, too.

Leading this year’s line-up is Chef’s Grill, an eight-course omakase-inspired dining experience co-curated with the Singapore Chefs’ Association. Held inside an air-conditioned tent, it offers diners a front-row seat to live-fire cooking as a curated roster of local chefs prepares each course.

Returning favourites such as Craft’ B, Slurp Your Oysters, Jett BBQ and DAMN join the festival’s signature Local Grills, International Grills and Beachside Grills zones. Expect everything from freshly shucked oysters and dry-aged beef to Korean barbecue, Japanese flame-torched dishes and Taiwanese street food.

Marketplace by Indoguna also returns in an elevated format, allowing guests to choose premium meats, seafood, and produce before they are cooked to order at themed live-fire stations. As evening falls, the Sunset Lounge by Asahi comes alive with DJ sets and live bands, while expanded sheltered seating and beachfront tables provide more ways to soak up the atmosphere. In another first for the festival, the Chef’s Grill pavilion and the beachfront lighting will be powered by solar energy.
