5. Have a day of fun and feasting at a family-friendly Oktoberfest bazaar
For a festival where beer-drinking is the main event, Oktoberfest is more family-friendly than you might think. From 21 to 23 September, 11am to 9pm, head to OD Mall for a Oktoberfest bazaar that delights the whole family. The new mall at The Grandstand has planned for you a whole weekend of games, shopping, food and beer. While you sit back and sip up on the all-day happy hour craft beers, your little ones can join in free activities like face-painting, colouring, and more! The chill-out fun continues at the boutique market stalls, featuring everything from artisanal crafts, to apparels, to beauty products, to home décor. And of course, it won’t be a true Oktoberfest without the delectable German food – tuck into a special menu of traditional sausages and authentic schnitzels, as you continue to knock back those beers. The kids won’t be missing out – there are delicious root beer floats just for them!
