13. Savour the best of the Italian truffle season
The Italian truffle season is upon us, and you don’t have to hop on a plane to indulge in the rare and widely loved fungus. The chefs at vegetarian restaurant @elemensg have created a special 8-course Truffle-Licious set menu ($42.80++ per pax) around white and black Italian truffles, available for a limited time until 31 October. From fruit salad with truffle mayonnaise, to truffle ice-cream paired with chocolate lava cake, the seasonal creations harness the versatility of truffles. Our favourite is the Braised Melon Black Truffle in Supreme Collagen Soup, which packs a warm nourishing punch as comforting as chicken soup, you won’t believe there’s no meat in it at all!
