11. Pokémon GO Safari Zone at Sentosa
Southeast Asia’s first-ever Pokémon GO Safari Zone is happening at Sentosa from 18-22 April 2019! Featuring the world’s first 6-metre tall Lapras inflatable, meet & greet sessions, photo points and more, Pokémon GO fans will be running around to catch ’em (good things) all!
Not only can Safari Zone ticket-holders look forward to catching rare Pokémon like Unown, and a shiny Shuckle too if you are lucky, through the Pokémon GO app, all guests in Sentosa will also enjoy exclusive Pokémon experiences over the long weekend!
Check out the world’s first 6-metre-tall Lapras inflatable at Palawan Beach, amongst Pokémon photo points spanning the Sentosa Boardwalk to Tanjong Beach! There will be free meet-and-greet sessions daily at Palawan Beach and Tanjong Beach, where you can get up close and personal with Pikachu in adorable costumes too! There will be three sessions at 11.30am, 2.30pm and 4pm daily during the event period. You can bring home official Pokémon plushies from the Pokémon pop-up store at Palawan Green as souvenirs too!
Plus, swap tips, trade Pokémon, and take a break at the Players Lounges along Palawan and Tanjong Beach! Themed in the colours of the three teams – Mystic, Valor, and Instinct – the Players Lounges are spaces where Trainers can cool off, refuel and get together under the shade.
You’re strongly encouraged to enter the island via public transport due to the limited parking spaces available. There’s the Sentosa Boardwalk; SBS Transit’s Service 123, as well as the Sentosa Express. There will be a free shuttle bus from Beach Station to Harbourfront Interchange, which will be available from 6pm to 10pm on Thursday and Monday, as well as from 4pm to 10pm from Friday to Sunday during the event period.
