3. Chill out and shop at a flea market
After a long weekend, unwind with your family and friends at a flea market. So Gelam Market returns from 18 to 20 January along Baghdad Street, this time held in conjunction with the Aliwal Urban Art Festival. Get some cash ready to shop for lots of unique trinkets, pre-loved clothes, yummy food and drinks. At the same time, enjoy the live music performances and activities at the lawn facing the Sultan Mosque, bringing non-stop entertainment all weekend.
