7. Chat with Singapore writers over a cup of tea

The #BuySingLit campaign this year is still going strong, and there’s a great event happening this Saturday not to be missed! The Global Cultural Alliance invites you to a literary tea on 16 March, from 2pm to 3:30pm, at the Temenggong 18/20. Join writers Marc Nair and Tan Mei Ching, both recipients of the Singapore’s Young Artist Award for literature, for an intimate conversation about their stories over tea from Kittea. It’s your chance to discover the works of these talented local writers, as their books will be sold at the event. Don’t forget to bring your own cups!

Get your tickets here, at $18 and $10 for students, NSF and senior citizens. On top of that, here’s $5 off tickets just for Weekender readers! Apply the discount code ‘GCA5’ (limited to first 5 readers) to redeem the offer.
