1. The City of Good Show
The National Volunteer and Philanthropy Centre (NVPC) in conjunction with donation platform Giving SG will be hosting a live comedy show, titled The City of Good Show: Saving Our Charities on NVPC’s Facebook Page on 9th May Saturday 8pm,
The purpose of this program is to help raise awareness and donations for charities that have fallen under the radar of public consciousness due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, with some of them seeing as much as a 70% decrease in donations.
The NVPC will be working together with six comedians who have stepped forward to feature in the program’s lineup in an effort to shine more attention on these struggling charities including Siraj Aziz, Assistant Lead Writer of SGAG, and Sam See, local stand-up comedian veteran who has headlined shows across Asia, and Europe.
