2. Treat your ears to a nostalgic Mid-Autumn concert

Glorious and magical, the moon has inspired countless romantic songs of various languages. We feel ourselves swooning every time we hear them. Well, the swooning is going through the roof on 22 September at VivoCity’s Amphitheatre, when the TENG Ensemble will perform classic tunes inspired by the moon, such as “Dancing in the Moonlight,” “Fly Me to the Moon” and “月亮代表我的心 (The Moon Represents My Heart)”. Aptly titled “Once Upon a Full Moon,” the evening concert from 6pm to 8pm will also see the local and acclaimed music ensemble accompanied by the popular Singaporean singer-songwriter Tay Kewei (郑可为) for a special appearance. Bring your little ones along too – there will be a dramatic re-telling of the Chang’e legend before the concert, taking us back to the goddess who inspired many traditional stories about the moon herself.
