The Sundowner offers an oasis of green floating above the bustling cafes and bars of Siglap. What started off as a Covid-19 rescue mission for their migrant workers from the dormitories, led them to this corner shophouse and its unused rooftop.
The juxtaposition of the busyness below and a quiet space above was something the owners fell in love with immediately. Each plant and pebble has been lovingly selected and put together, with the help of their migrant workers to create this unique speakeasy. While you enjoy the space and the experiences on offer, do say “hi” if you see their workers around!
