9. Online Charity Drive for Children to combat COVID-19
Powered by leading online marketplace Carousell, luxury consignment platform, LuxLexicon and medley of stars from LNX Global, like veteran actors Li Nanxing and Constance Song, popular actress Julie Tan, budding actors Weile and Ruyi, as well as radio personality Kemin will be putting together a list of favourite outfits for sale online with all proceeds going to charity.
The charity exercise is a three way effort to ease the hardships of underprivileged children and their families whose livelihood might have been affected by the COVID-19 outbreak.
There will be a total of over 50 outfits listed on LuxLexicon’s Carousell account (@luxlexicon) daily from 30 March 2020 all the way till 5 April 2020. Special selection will be sold via an exciting lottery bidding method for only S$1. Interested fans can bid it at S$1 but only one lucky fan will walk away with the outfit.
All proceeds from the sales will be going to the Straits Times Pocket Money Fund and the Business Times Budding Artist Fund to aid underprivileged children with school supplies.
