9. Trashy Art 2021
Trashy Art 2021 aims to raise awareness and spark conversation around marine and eco-conservation and promote the integration of the built and natural environment through trash collection and art. The contest will run from now till 30 Nov 2021.
Participants are required to arrange their trips to any of the beaches in Singapore (while observing prevailing Covid-19 measures) and create a personal art piece from the trash collected. There are no strict parameters as to what medium the artwork should be in. The artwork will be judged by a panel of PAWV committee members, partners and advocates from sustainability and conservation groups in Singapore. Six winners will be chosen, with the emerging champion being entitled to S$500 in cash vouchers. The works will also be displayed at one of the six PAssion Wave outlets.
