Chong Tze Chien’s Murder in Mandai Camp: The Case Reopens, Asia’s first virtual horror-mystery escape room. With live-action gameplay is now in Singapore.
Audience-participants will, once again, put on their investigator’s cap for the sequel to Murder in Mandai Camp: A Supernatural Murder Mystery for S$20 (per pax, excludes booking fees). It will stream for 90 minutes on-demand between 8 pm and 4 am daily, from 22 December 2020 to 2 January 2021.
In partnership with creative technologist Adrian Oliveiro (Xctuality) and Stereoimage Studios, the genre-defying experience will be led by CID Officer Lemuel Ng (played by Benjamin Kheng). The story unfolds in a non-linear manner, its flow determined completely by the audience. The highly interactive format will have our investigators revisit the infamous Mandai Camp case in a full 360° view. Toggle between different evidence and videos laced with surprises on their choice of screen.
The show will also expand on the involvement of Ronald Goh, a current student in LaSalle College of The Arts, as part of their aim to support the local scene with jobs and a platform to nurture new and young talents.
