Urban Ventures 12 will be bringing the area’s fan-favourite bars and restaurants out onto the streets, cooking up a slew of exciting programme highlights that are sure to suit everyone’s palates, including a social enterprise market showcasing local businesses that do good! Urban Ventures 12 will take place on the 5th of October, from 3pm – 1030pm!
Hit your 10,000 step count with high energy drum and bass by DJs Submerge and OMJ (Sub City, Revision Music), wax lyrical with home-grown hip-hop hotties Yung Parents, and Yooh the Vibration (Lion Steppaz Soundsystem), Masia One aka #FarEastEmpress (Nusantara Records), and beatboxing pros Z-Loco and General Ling from Nusantara Records. Mackie and City Music will be taking over Selector’s Stage with other artists.
You can also showcase your artistic flair at Workshop Way. Weave your fantasy patterns into reality in a mini-loom weaving workshop by artists and educators Joscelin Chew and Megan Miao, or take part in a community installation by art collective Mural Lingo!
