8 Top Omakase Restaurants To Try In Singapore

Singaporeans are huge fans of Japanese cuisine and this includes Omakase. Omakase means "Leave it up to you", and the chef will decide what goes into their tummy for that meal.

The chef will usually decide on the dishes depending on the catch of the season and the ingredients available on that day. Omakase is usually available at a premium price but are they worth it? Team Weekender has sourced and tried out a few places that we highly recommend!

3. VUE

This Autumn, VUE pays homage to ingredients grounded in the rusticity of the terroir, like porcini mushrooms, truffle and Basque-style cured hams for flavors. In the pre-fixe 4-course menu (S$228), flavors of both land and sea take center-stage, letting simple ingredients like baby carrots, guinea fowl, and chestnuts shine alongside prime exclusives like Perigord foie gras, Royal Belgian albino white caviar and 14-day dry-aged Spanish seabass.

If you are feeling more indulgent, opt for the 6-course Omakase menu (S$388++).

VUE is located at OUE Bayfront, 50 Collyer Quay Rooftop Level 19, Singapore 049321.
