For the very first time, the week-long celebration of gastronomy and the best of the international culinary scene was held in Asia - and in Singapore, known for our love for food and diverse culinary culture.
We were filled with pride when it was announced that Odette, the modern French restaurant helmed by Chef Julien Royer at the National Gallery and only local restaurant on the list, clinched No.18 this year, rising ten spots from its 2018 ranking.

3. Elkano (No.30)
Elkano, an authentic Basque asador in Getaria, Spain, serves up what some call “the world’s best grilled turbot”.
Using only the freshest fish, grilling them using the art of la parilla, or the traditional Spanish method; it’s a simple dish, yet one that earned Elkano its first Michelin star.
