The highly anticipated MICHELIN Guide Singapore 2024 has arrived, unveiling a culinary landscape brimming with both established excellence and exciting new discoveries.

The newly released Guide recommends 283 locations, including 3 three-Michelin Stars, 6 two-Michelin Stars, 42 one-Michelin Star, 81 Bib Gourmand, and 151 Michelin-selected venues.

This year’s edition witnessed a significant ascent for one restaurant and the well-deserved recognition of four newcomers to the prestigious one-star category.

Three MICHELIN Stars Restaurants Still Retain The Throne

Odette, Les Amis, and Zén did not disappoint, maintaining their prestigious three MICHELIN stars. These renowned restaurants continue to set the benchmark for culinary excellence, offering exceptional dining experiences that showcase their mastery in gastronomy.

Chef Sun Kim, Meta

Meta was promoted to Two MICHELIN Stars

The biggest news of the night belonged to Meta. Helmed by Korean-born Chef Sun Kim, the restaurant presents a captivating fusion of Korean heritage and contemporary aesthetics. Hailing from Busan, Chef Kim’s culinary vision blends bold flavors and time-honored traditions with a minimalist approach. The intimate setting fosters a chef’s table experience, where diners can witness the culinary artistry unfold.

A signature dish is the steamed Jeju abalone. This dish masterfully contrasts textures, featuring the delicate mollusk with a creamy gochujang seaweed risotto and a delightful crunch from lily bulbs. The seafood-centric tasting menu caters to both seafood enthusiasts and adventurous palates.

4 Restaurants Earn Their First MICHELIN Star

23 New Establishments Joined the MICHELIN Selection

The selection expands to include 23 exciting new additions this year. This diverse group features a range of restaurants and hawker stalls, highlighting the city’s rich tapestry of cuisines. Singapore’s beloved hawker fare continues to shine brightly amongst the new MICHELIN selections. These include iconic dishes like the sizzling stir-fries of Food Street’s Fried Kway Teow Mee and the comforting classics of Guan Kee’s Fried Carrot Cake and Maxwell’s Fuzhou Oyster Cake.
