Try the pretty culinary treats inspired by the iconic beagle

Charlie Brown's pet dog. The world's most famous beagle. The Flying Ace.

And now, the inspiration behind the latest theme of popular Singapore cafe Kumoya. From 13 June to September 2019, Kumoya will transform into the vibrant world of Charles M. Schulz's classic comic strip Peanuts, and delight you with a wide menu of adorable Snoopy-inspired food and drinks. Singapore is no stranger to a Peanuts-themed cafe - we've got a permanent Charlie Brown Cafe in Orchard! - but the Kumoya pop-up marks the first cafe in Singapore focused particularly and entirely on Snoopy.

His human Charlie Brown and Charlie Brown's gang of friends do not seem to make an appearance at all on the interior decor and menu. Snoopy's inseparable best friend Woodstock, however, adds its adorable little yellow spark of joy on most of the food and drinks.

Just based on the artist's impressions of it, we are loving the Snoopy-inspired interior! Black-and-white images of Snoopy adorn the walls, true to comic strip style, while full-colour Snoopys hang from the ceiling, as though the Flying Ace is really zipping through the air. Even the table tops are decorated in comic strips starring Snoopy, and the cafe counters are transformed into the beagle's iconic red dog house.

Besides the World War I pilot, Kumoya also celebrates a few other alter egos Snoopy has imagined himself in, and their adventures. Bring your kids or younger siblings, and get in touch with your own inner kid; immerse yourself in the playful imagination of Snoopy, and let it guide you to dream big too!

The Snoopy theme comes on the heels of Kumoya's Precious Moments and Care Bears double feature, and before that, the cafe dived into the colourful world of My Little Pony and treated cat lovers to a Pusheen pop-up. Those who have enjoyed the many character themed ventures at Kumoya can look forward to more adorable and Insta-worthy food art at the Snoopy cafe. Shirley Wong, the famous food artist known as Little Miss Bento, is back to curate the menu with the Kumoya kitchen team. And together, they present probably our favourite food art designs of all the Kumoya themes so far! From snacks and mains to dessert and drinks, all items integrate the cute and lazy personality of the iconic beagle. The following are the stand-outs of the menu we are excited to try.

Complete your unique experience by bringing some Snoopy merchandise home! They will be sold at the cafe, and you might also get several limited edition merch with the purchase of certain items on the menu.
