These beautiful treats are the perfect accompaniment to your cherry blossom viewing

Make it a magical experience by putting together a picnic for you and your loved ones. Fill your picnic basket with the following Japanese snacks and delicacies from various bakeries and markets. Some restaurants have also launched limited edition menus inspired by all things sakura, for a lovely dine-in meal.

2. Gokoku Japanese Bakery Sweet Delights

Just like the original Gokoku Shichifuku bakery from Kobe, Japan, the Singapore branch has been widely loved for their exquisite Japanese buns. So we bet their new range of springtime treats will be a hit. Try all four treats – Amaou Strawberry Melon Pan ($2.50), Matcha Mochi Anpan ($2.30), Sakura Coronate chocolate and red bean cream puff ($2.20), and Strawberry Milk Roll ($1.90). They are all made from top quality Japanese ingredients, and available now at the bakery until the end of April.
