3. Gurney Drive
‘Gurney Drive’, the restaurant is named after and inspired by the Gurney Drive in Penang (Malaysia). Having closed all their outlets in Singapore in 2015 due to the departure of their then-Penangite chef, fans will be delighted that the well-loved brand has now made a comeback after seven years in a place befitting the food it serves. Nestled within Northshore Plaza II, Singapore’s first seafront neighbourhood centre built within an HDB estate, one can now enjoy yummy Penang hawker signatures along the seafront.
From Penang Fried Kway Teow, Assam Laksa to Prawn Noodles, Gurney Drive offers the same staggering variety of Penang hawker food, all served with a generous topping of their crowd-favourite fresh crisp-fried pork lard. Key highlights on the menu include Tahu Goreng Penang Style, Kuih Pie Tee, Penang Fried Kway Teow and Fried Hokkien Mee and more!
Gurney Drive by Penang Culture (Northshore Plaza II) is located at #02-03, Northshore Plaza II, 418 Northshore Drive, Singapore 820418.
