4. Waker Chicken (와커치킨)
Missing the authentic taste and experience of Korean fried chicken from home, 2 native Koreans living in Singapore started Waker Chicken. Cop-founder, Noh Tae Woo and Kim Jinho who met while working here want to bring that authentic Korean friend chicken quality to local diners at an affordable price.
Their new outlet at Holland Drive specialises in Korean fried chicken, serving a variety of the Korean specialty chicken that are flavourful with an irresistible paper-thin like crispiness – from Original Crispy flavour to sweet-and-spicy-on-the-lips and aromatic flavours such as Sweet Spicy, Soy Sauce, and Honey Butter. This new Waker Chicken outlet will be the first to officially undergo Muis’ Halal certification.
