This #ThirstyThursday, we are zooming in on craft beers. Singapore's love for artisanal beers by independent breweries is making a huge comeback recently, and the bars are responding. Lots of new bars and restaurants have been popping up in the last two to three years, treating us to a wide variety of excellent brews from all over the world on tap. 3. Orh Gao Taproom
A Killiney Kopitiam by day, beer bar by night, Orh Gao Taproom oozes with local charm and heritage. It offers a friendly hangout spot for Bukit Timah residents or visitors to the nearby Botanic Gardens. The bar keeps 10 beers on tap at any one time, as well as more labels in bottles. Complement them with the bar bites, which are also inspired by classic local flavours – their Har Cheong Gai Chicken ($10) is a hit among the diners.
