The MICHELIN Guide Singapore 2025 has officially been unveiled!
It spotlights 42 exceptional restaurants across the island. In its ninth edition, the prestigious guide awarded 3 restaurants with the coveted three MICHELIN Stars, 7 with two MICHELIN Stars, and 32 with one MICHELIN Star — a testament to Singapore’s ever-evolving and world-class culinary scene. From time-honoured fine dining establishments to exciting new entrants, this year’s list reflects both consistency and fresh innovation in the city’s gastronomic landscape.

MICHELIN Guide Young Chef Award: Spotlighting the Future of Gastronomy
In line with its mission to recognise rising culinary talents and foster the next generation of exceptional chefs, the 2025 MICHELIN Guide Young Chef Award, presented by Blancpain, celebrates a young individual whose promise and dedication have stood out to the MICHELIN inspectors. This year, the honour goes to Mr. Kazuki Arimoto, head chef of newly awarded One MICHELIN Star restaurant Omakase @ Stevens.
Chef Kazuki’s journey reflects the essence of what this award represents — youth, passion, and the drive to push culinary boundaries. Since joining the team as sous chef in 2022, he has risen quickly to helm the kitchen as head chef by April 2024. Now 31, the Osaka-born chef brings with him a decade of experience from top establishments in Tokyo, and a bold vision that fuses his Japanese heritage with refined French techniques. His omakase menu showcases this creative synthesis through dishes that are both elegant and inventive.
This award not only recognises his skill and leadership but also highlights MICHELIN’s continued commitment to nurturing young chefs and giving them the platform to shine on an international stage.

MICHELIN Guide Service Award: Honouring Excellence Beyond the Kitchen
Behind every MICHELIN Star is not just a chef, but a team — and exceptional service is just as essential as exceptional cuisine. The 2025 MICHELIN Guide Service Award recognises the unsung heroes of hospitality: the individuals whose professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail elevate the entire dining experience.
This year’s award is presented to Ms. Ines Carriere Bega, head waitress at the prestigious Three MICHELIN Star restaurant Odette.
Originally from France, Ms. Carriere Bega has won the hearts of both diners and inspectors alike with her effortless grace, attentiveness, and genuine charm. Her ability to engage guests with warmth and ease — even adding a touch of humour when appropriate — exemplifies the very best in front-of-house excellence. While Odette’s service team operates with remarkable cohesion and precision, it is her poised leadership and personalised approach that truly shine, making every guest feel welcome and cared for.
Through this award, the MICHELIN Guide continues to celebrate the importance of hospitality and the dedicated professionals who help transform a meal into a memorable experience.

Sushi Sakuta Climbs to Two MICHELIN Stars
Sushi Sakuta, known for its authentic Edomae-style omakase experience by Chef-owner Sakuta and Second Head Chef Yoshi, has been promoted from one to two MICHELIN Stars in the 2025 MICHELIN Guide Singapore.
Located in The Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore, the restaurant offers an intimate dining experience with just ten seats at a hinoki counter crafted from a 200-year-old cypress tree, along with a private dining room. Guests can expect a seasonally driven omakase menu, where traditional techniques and a “less-is-more” philosophy allow the natural flavours of premium seafood flown in from Toyosu Market to take centre stage.
Their continued progress and dedication to craft have once again been recognised by MICHELIN. This year, they’ve risen from one to two Stars — a reflection of how far they’ve come, and a glimpse of an even brighter future ahead.

The Three-star Lineup is Made Up of Long-time Powerhouses
Les Amis, Odette, and Zén are the three restaurants that have maintained their prestigious three MICHELIN stars. They have held their top-tier status for many years, with Les Amis and Odette earning three stars from the very beginning, demonstrating their strong and lasting excellence.
Les Amis is a classic French fine-dining institution known for its elegant dishes and impeccable service, while Odette offers contemporary French cuisine with artistic presentation and refined flavours. Zén is celebrated for its innovative, seasonal Japanese-inspired tasting menus.
Their continued success reflects their unwavering commitment to culinary mastery and exceptional dining experiences.
