Janice Wong To Open Her Restaurant On 17 Aug

The Queen of Desserts will be venturing into creative dim sum

Fans of Janice Wong's imaginative desserts will be pleased to know that her full-fledge restaurant at the National Museum of Singapore will open on 17 Aug.

As a trailblazer in the culinary scene, she is known for blurring the boundaries between sweet and savoury, as well as crafting the edible into pitch-perfect works of art.

Currently, the two-time winner of the San Pellegrino Asia’s Best Pastry Chef (2013 and 2014) helms 2am: dessertbar in Holland Village where popular desserts like Chocolate Tart and Cassis Plum are served.

Her new flagship Janice Wong Singapore restaurant will see a largely savoury menu of dim sum and noodles, based on her book Dim Sum: A Flour-Forward Approach To Traditional Favorites And Contemporary Creations (2013).
