Joo
Opened in late November 2014, the latest trendsetting addition to a vibrant F&B scene is Joo – a sleek, casual and inviting venue within a heritage three-storey shop house in the heart of Singapore along Tan Quee Lan Street. Ingeniously created by Singaporean aficionados of Korean culture and food; Jamie and Kristin Lim is born from a desire to offer top notch modern Korean bites and creative drinks in a space that exudes a laid-back vibe with a tasteful dose of edginess.

The Prawn Star
The Prawn Star busts out her best moves in the reimagined “tze char” kitchen on 21 November. Sitting on Singapore’s hippest and heaving dining enclave on a hill, the home-style “tze char” or “cook and fry” concept meets the gritty back alleys of Melbourne to dish out hot and tasty contemporary-style plates. The 1,600-square-foot dining hall on the ground floor of a 1900’s pre-war shop house can seat up to 36 guests, and another twelve outside on the cobblestoned pathway.
