3. Beef Bourguignon with Rice ($6/$8), The Stew House
There’s nothing dainty about the food served at The Stew House, where most of its offerings are hearty and unpretentious. The beef stew itself is decent. However, the beef chunks were too tough for our liking, and the potato cubes hard. There is a bit of spiciness to the gravy, which is best eaten with a plate of rice.
